Jamaican Honeymoon

We had plenty to do at the resort. We spent most of our time at the pool, but we were occasionally active. Meghan playing shuffleboardI was particularly fond of the sailboats, harrassing the staff each day to see if they would let me take out a boat. Generally they said "no" because of the "no wind" or "too hot." Frankly, I began to suspect that they didn't actually want to have to worry about it and that the boats were just there for decaration. When we couldn't sail, though, there was always shuffleboard.

But really, most of our time was spent next to the pool. It was hard not to spent time next to the pool, given that it was shallow enough to stand (rather than swim) in and given that it had a swim-up bar.

Pina Coladas
In the evenings, we enjoyed great meals and (the trend continues) lots of drinks. We grew particularly fond of pina coladas, though Meghan sometimes objected to the extra dark rum when left in the straw (look carefully at the photo and then imagine her surprise when she took a sip). When not eating and drinking at a restaurant, we were eating and drinking at a show. The resort had top-quality entertainers on hand to sing their most popular songs.Elvis

We had a great view from our hotel room.

All in all, a great trip. And we returned to our home in North Carolina we were greated with a mound of presents. Thanks.
Presents!

We had a great time on the honeymoon. Here are a few photos to prove it.
