Gender Day Festivities

Even though this is late (I just today learned how to compress photos!) I still wanted to share pictures from Gender Day. Starting with our friend Andrea last year, our lab has begun celebrating "gender day" - the day that you find out the gender of your baby! When I came in from getting our ultrasound I was greeted with festive pink and blue foods to celebrate. To the right are some delicious pink and blue "cake pops" made by the talented Maria Bednar, seen below with Ryan who ate the first cake pop! YUM!!
We were also treated to pink and blue cotton candy, rice krispie treats, a special K bar, and blue corn chips with spinach dip tinted pink! It was a fantastic surprise followed up by a delicious lab lunch at Red Robin. All in all a spectacular way to celebrate gender day!! Thanks, labbies!!
